The Black Cat Blue Sea Award

I’m super excited to accept the nomination for the Black Cat Blue Sea Award this time! Awards like these are one of the things that keep bloggers going. Thank you Riddhi from whisperingstories for nominating me for this one. She writes pretty cool book reviews and does lovely book tags regularly!

The meaning of the Black Cat Blue Sea Award:

“This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it, and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.”

The Rules

  • Anybody nominated can nominate seven (lucky number) other bloggers.
  • Anybody nominated answers three questions.
  • The questions you ask while nominating can be any three questions.
  • If any of the questions asked are offending or the nominee simply does not want to answer them, the nominee does not have to answer them to earn the award.

Riddhi’s Questions:

  1. What is the one thing you like and dislike about my blog? Hey, I really enjoy reading your blog. Your reviews, especially, movie reviews accurately analyse the film, which I like a lot. I don’t think there’s anything I dislike as yet though.
  2. What are your 5 all-time favourite songs? Um that’s difficult lol. Gimme more by Britney Spears, Love you like a love song by Selena, Dark Paradise by Lana Del Rey, Cheap Thrills by Sia, it’s you by Zayn and Shape of you by Ed Sheeran?¿
  3. Which language would you like to learn completely? I know the basics of French, so I would love to be a proficient French speaker some day!

Bloggers I am nominating:

  1. Simran Totlani
  2. Pragya Khokhar
  3. Ste J
  4. Kushal Gorti
  5. Nehal Jain
  6. Vonny
  7. Grace

My Questions:

  1. Which book have you read most recently and how did you find it?
  2. What is something you’ve tried your hand at during the lockdown?
  3. Which movie is your current favorite?

P.S. Please feel free to accept or decline the award 🙂

  1. I live in a bilingual (well trilungual actually) country where French is also a language and a teeny tiny part speaks German near the border but I don’t really enjoy speaking French, I love English so much more and I would love to speak it all the time! I loved reading your answers! xxx

  2. Congratulations on the award, and thanks for the nomination. I would accept but have such short time that I can barely bring out a post in a week of trying to find the time. To answer your questions though.

I recently read The Reacher Guy, despite never having read a Lee Child novel but enjoyed the story of his life. In Lockdown I tried YouTube and to be a better dad, hopefully both worked out quite well! And Finally my current favourite film is an old one but a lot of fun; Biggles: Adventures in time, I’m all in it for the nostalgia.

Apologies for my late reply on this, beign a parent with a fifty hour work week (of late) has made it a struggle to keep up with blogs and reading. i will try and catch up with you properly in the next week or so.

    1. Oh that’s completely okay, I understand that. Loved reading your answers to the questions! Also, I had no clue you were a dad, must be difficult to manage so much. And glad to know you enjoyed reading the biography. Why haven’t I heard of Biggles though! Could you link the Youtube though?

      1. A dad of thirteen months now, with no sleep, a fifty hour work week at the moment and little time to be blog active, let alone read and write but getting there. I miss reading and writing.

Biggles is based on a series of children’s books that I haven’t read but loved the film as a kid, and the soundtrack too. There are some really atmpspheric scenes, here is a link to film in HD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8Gt-UqwZaI
