Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award #2

I’m utterly thankful to Jevannel for having nominated me for the Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award which is luckily my second nomination for the same. Do go check his blog out, which is about teaching and learning various subjects.

My Answers to The Questions

Describe your writing style.

I don’t have a specific writing style but I try to make my blog posts very chatty and informal, unless the topic is a grave one. Whenever I sit to write, I just make sure the words are easy to understand for all kinds of readers, including those who are unfamiliar with jargon.

Do you plan your blogs or is it more so have free style?

My blog posts are scheduled, so I post once every week or if something needs urgent attention, I make an exception. They mostly consist of book reviews, so they are also planned as per a particular format but I write freestyle when it’s anything other than that.

What is it that you enjoy most about being a blogger?

It’s lovely how I’m able to express myself and my opinions are able to reach out to a larger audience. Also when I meet other amazing bloggers whom I connect with, those are times that make blogging worthwhile. Appreciation and genuine comments are wonderful too!

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received from someone?

Every piece of advice is great, just depends upon the situation you are in. Currently, I think the advice that is helping me the most is that of taking control of my life. Once you understand that you’re responsible for most of what is happening to you, things become easier.

Do you see yourself blogging in 5 years?

Definitely, a yes! I’m slowly getting the hang of it and when the audience starts growing, it just becomes all the more motivating. So yes, I really hope I continue doing this that I love!

What been the highlight of this year?

This year is anything but normal and even though it has brought tonnes of bad things, it has its own good stuff as well. The highlight would be obviously me starting my blog and I think growing as a person because of the tremendous amount of time been given!

What do you miss about last year?

Last year, there was a lot happening compared to where we are now. I changed schools, cities, made new friends and lost a few old ones. I miss having fun with my people back in that city and of course, I miss my previous school. Not to mention my better grades as well lol.

If you could change one thing what would it be?

I would change all the bad things, mainly the lives that we’ve lost this year, be it because of the virus, suicides, injustices or whatever. Also, I would’ve tried undoing the growing acne on my face haha. If I could, I’d be glad to make everyone more accepting of and kind to each other!

Would you encourage your kids to become bloggers?

Course I would! This is one of the few things I’m proud of and being an adolescent myself, I think it proves highly beneficial in various fields apart from boosting writing skills, opening up to people and learning things. So, YES!

If you could snap your fingers right now and change one thing about the world what would that one thing be?

If it has to be something magical, I’d just wish for karma to do its work and give people what they deserve. And the miserable to lead better lives. I’d want the COVID19 to be gone but students be given more holidays hehe.
